Greetings Aggies! I am Olivia G. Johnson, a second‑year Political Science student from Greensboro, NC, and I am vying to serve as your next Vice President of Internal Affairs.
In senate, the CAHSS senators:

laid the foundation for an ambassador program for our college to amplify the voices of students outside of the Senators

worked with the social media coordinator to improve the college's social media

helped usher in a new dean and cabinet mid school year

creating a roll over plan for initiatives not finished by the 59th assembly to give to the 60th

Shared Governance
Building a campus where students have a real voice in decisions that shape our experience.

Publishing Senate Agendas and creating Senate Updates (similar to E‑Board updates) so Aggies can clearly see the work your Senate accomplishes

•Launching a Constitutional Convention to modernize and clarify our SGA/NCAT Constitution

•Adding a biennial (every other year) constitutional review clause to ensure our governance stays relevant for a long term impact

Honing Senates
Supporting each college in reaching its full potential, meeting them where they are and respecting their unique trajectories.

Equipping senators with the information and tools to create attainable, impactful initiatives, including support for colleges that need additional resources

Establishing Senate Office Hours to increase accessibility and visibility

Continuing and expanding Senate Advocacy Week to amplify student concerns and solutions
